Ask for “South African Pinotage, ideally Stellenbosch or a producer such as Kanonkop, Lanzerac, Bellevue, Diemersfontein, Fairview, or Stellenrust.” If the shop cannot find those, ask whether their distributor has any South African reds made from Pinotage.
